The Wicked Witch of the West (Character) 2:00
Note: The music “tells” the story-line which is to be interpreted in character/mime.
The wicked witch is flying around and sees a house caught in a tornado fall out of the sky and land on top of her evil sister (The Wicked witch of the East) killing her instantly.
She is enraged to see sweet little Dorothy emerge from the house to be welcomed by the Munchkins and plans to get her revenge.
In a rage she flies after her only to find that Dorothy has made friends (The Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion) and is happily on her way to meet the Wizard of Oz with them.
The Wicked Witch flies down to confront them and sets fire to the scarecrow. But quick thinking Dorothy throws some water from a stream onto the scarecrow and also accidentally onto the witch.
The witch screams because water can kill her.
She melts away until only her hat, cloak and broom remain!
