I still can’t feel any love.
Not at all.
Jack broke up with her / she left for him
Jack was heartbroken / decided not to love
He walks down the road / looks up the midday sun
Decides to melt down in the heat / and be done with it
in the nick of time / by the corner of the alley
A mutt appears / and walks up to Jack
The Mutt sniffs him / confirms it’s a human (a-ha)
And then he starts / to wag his tail!!!
(Wagging his tail!!)
Off-Screenr: Jack melts! Not just because of the heat!
In this cursed world! Pure love still exists!

Such hot weather / he hugs and kisses me.
Jack’s heartbroken / the mutt left with another puppy
Jack’s desperate / decides not to love
He runs down the beach / looks across the sea
Decides to die of thirst / that would be the end of it
Amid terrible boredom / on the rocks by the sea
an old man lying on the reef (hello) / looks at Jack (sua)
The old man looks at him / makes sure he’s alive
Then he pulls out / a cup of oolong tea!
